Wafaa Al-Muhna, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, stated that the launch of the productive exhibition “One Community for All Talents,” organized by the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities through its Vocational Rehabilitation Department, will be held in Martyrs Park from February 12 to 13. The exhibition showcases participants’ works, including drawings, handicrafts, and products. This initiative stems from the authority’s strategy aimed at integrating persons with disabilities into society and continues its supportive approach to enhance their influential role by developing and nurturing their skills alongside raising community awareness of their rights and capabilities.
Al-Muhna emphasized the authority’s efforts to build community partnerships with public benefit associations and specialists from the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training to improve the quality of vocational rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities. She pointed to a partnership between the authority and the Human Development Association for Social Development to graduate a new batch of the authority’s students by the end of February, aiming to integrate them into the local labor market in cooperation with government and private sectors.
